Marazion Memories and local schools

Marazion Memories has been supporting and working with staff and students at Marazion, Ludgvan and St. Hilary Schools. An important aspect of this work is to encourage young people to develop an understanding of where they live and a sense of "belonging".

The Head Teachers and staff of each of the three schools have approached their projects in different ways. For more information on the work at each school refer to the following web pages:

Our thanks to Sue Visick, Helen Macfarlane and Bill Mann for allowing us to work at their schools and to class teachers Sue Walker, Geoff Smith and Kate Ellis for their enthusiasm and skill. We are also grateful to the more senior citizens who spent time at the schools sharing their memories, but we are especially indebted to the pupils for allowing us the privilege of working with them.
